Birthday Parties
A Birthday Party at the Community Center is a great way for children and teens to celebrate their special day! Our parties are a fun way to create lasting memories and can be customized to suit your needs. Parties are scheduled for weekends. All parties include one hour in the party room and one hour in the activity. You pick the date, we bring the fun! Food, decorations and party supplies are the responsibility of the individuals hosting the event.
*Only painters tape is allowed to hang any decorations – PLEASE do not bring duct tape.*
Party Details
- Parties are two hours long.
- We will set up all of the tables and chairs.
- Parties can host up to 15 children ($10 per child fee for over 15 children).
- Max is 20 children including birthday child.
- A $100.00 non-refundable fee secures the party date.
Party Themes
Ages 5 – 12
This birthday is perfect for creative, hands-on kids! Party goers are given supplies and support to create their own arts and crafts project. All they need to bring is inspiration! This party will utilize our art studio to make a masterpiece to take home! From pottery to painting there are so many options to choose from- themes are customized to your party needs.

Ages 2 -4
Engage your little ones in some fun gym time in our health & wellness room. There will be age appropriate activities available and a party host to assist. 15 Max including birthday child.

Make a Splash!!
Ages 5 and up – Celebrate your child’s birthday with a splash! Kids will have a blast with an hour of open swim in our recreation pool before dessert and gifts in the party room. Any individual under the age of 5, must be accompanied by an adult while in the water. Pool time will be shared with members/non-member during your swim time. Max 25 including birthday child

After Hours Make a Splash!
Ages 6 and up This party is the same as a Make a Splash party except you will have the pool to yourselves.For an additional cost you may add the the Wibit slide for ages 6 and up to your party. Great option for tweens and teens and larger groups! Max 30 including birthday child

Ages 6 – 10
Who doesn’t love food! At this birthday party, kids cook in the kitchen and create a delicious creation of their own. Maybe cupcakes, brownies, or even pizza! Then it’s time to sample their dishes and open gifts in the party room! This party is limited to a max of 10 individuals.

The Newtown Community Center is your affordable solution for all your affairs and events! Our centrally located building and air-conditioned rooms can accommodate meetings and events of all varieties. Guests enjoy our beautiful space, parking, and the manicured grounds of the Fairfield Hills Campus. Availability varies by room and season. Please contact the Community Center for after-hour availability.
